In spring 2025, Laader Berg AS invested in an IntelliWelder welding cobot for the production of their metal tanks. The tanks are welded by an roof mounted UR20 robot, enabling complete circumferential welds with efficiency and precision. The UR20’s long reach allows the entire vertical seam to be welded in a single arc, ensuring consistent quality.
The robotic system is now used to produce tanks for their foam machines, which are shipped worldwide, and Laader Berg is exploring additional applications for the robot across their production lines, making IntelliWelder a versatile and valuable investment.
