AF Gruppen

AF Gruppen has been a key contributor to many of Norway’s largest transport
infrastructure developments in recent years. In spring 2024, Pioneer Robotics delivered
an IntelliWelder welding cobot to AF Gruppen. The system was quickly put into
operation to produce track plates for D8 bulldozers.

In this project, the welding cobot helped streamline the production process and
improve efficiency in the welding of these components. Later the welding system has
been used in other project to produce brackets for tunnel light fixtures, amongst other
things.
